Summer School Pics

...so I'm teaching a photography class for middle schoolers this summer. This is my 4th summer (5th maybe?) doing so ... and each summer I get more and more impressed and encouraged by what they can do. Each week they participate in a few different competitions where they've gotta create and capture photos that meet certain criteria (water, perspective, bubbles, flowers, etc.). They've gotta capture things in different ways ... from different angles ... taking into account all those things that make for good photos. All that to say, we're working at it. They're great kiddos with great futures so here's a few of their pics so far:

Jack's Senior Pics

...so Jack just wrapped up his senior year recently. He's been a successful student, athlete, and leader ... and now he's taking his talents to the collegiate level. I've shot a few senior pic sessions thus far, but he's the first former student of mine that I've shot. That must mean I'm getting old, huh. He's still got that nice little quiet, confident smirk that lets you know he's going to do well in the years ahead.
